BC PNP-Point Calculator /Skills Immigration Registration System (Sirs)
On January 2016, the BC PNP started with a new immigration system by the name Skilled Immigration Registration System (SIRS). SIRS, an intake management system, allows British Columbia to select candidates for Provincial Nomination as per their scores.
SIRS is conducted by the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP). As it is a point-based system, applicants receive scores based on the information they provide while making their online profile (same as an express entry). After receiving scores, qualified candidates enter the pool along with other candidates. BC PNP periodically performs draws, and through different streams of British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program, candidates get the invitation to apply for Province Nomination.
The BC Provincial Nominee Program offers candidates the three different ways to become permanent residents in B.C. Depending on your National Occupational Classification skill level, job, or international student status; you can apply under different categories of each pathway. In some categories, you may not even require any prior work experience.
